There are many new additions to the apparel and promotional items we can offer our customers. If there is something in particular that you are looking for, but don't see on the website, be sure to call and ask about it.
We did some really neat projects over the Holidays with Custom Embroidery. One was a blanket with a bee design on it using the "fringe" technique. It makes the design very dimentional . Designs like this are specially digitized for making the "fringe" look. Not all designs can be done this way.

We were also pleased to find just the right lettering for a customer who had a screen printed sweatshirt with the now popular "vampire" theme on the front. After she picked the lettering, I did some further digging and found just the perfect lettering to go on the back of the sweatshirt, that fit so well with what was on the front!

We will try to go the extra mile for our customers and not just always stay with the basics. We get excited about embroidery! We like to create and if there is an idea that we can share or in someway enhance YOUR idea, we are more than happy to. That is what makes us unique.

"Its Better In Mentor" Festival

Come visit us at the "It's Better In Mentor" Festival.

The festival runs September 18, 19, 20, 2009 at the Mentor Civic Center/City hall grounds. We will have some pre-embroidered items in stock for your buying pleasure or we can talk about doing some custom work for you. We will also have a display of some company logo's we have done so you can take a look at our work

This is the time of year when we all start getting our gardens planted and our flowers in their pots for the summer. We had the privilege of meeting a new client and their expertise of plants and gardening and friendliness far exceeds your expectations of a greenhouse.

Madison Avenue Greenhouse, located at 905 Madison Avenue in Painesville, Ohio is one greenhouse you need to visit. The staff are awesome and the owner, Ed Nemeth is very helpful to all your gardening questions. They have beautiful flowers, breathtaking pre-made floral arrangements and great, great prices.

We are all tired of the snow and cold and surely look forward to a warming trend! The Holidays are behind us and now is the time to start a new year. We have been busy working with our new clients and will this year be working on updating the website and look forward to offering our customers a better way to view products and buy online. Delight Design Embroidery has had a busy year and have met some very wonderful people. They are what makes it so worth it to focus on creativity and doing the best possible job.

One of the most challenging is when our customers allow us to create something for them.

Another Year Ends

Well, pretty soon we will ring in the New Year.

It's hard to believe that we are going into 2009!

We had a busy two months and what a whirlwind! We did 100 shirts for Neighboring for their Holiday employee gifts and was certainly glad to help them out. Neighboring provides so many services for the mental health community and provides services in assisting consumers in achieving optimal independence and empowerment. We also did over 100 jackets for the upcoming 2009 US Figure Skating Championships in Cleveland to be held at the Quicken Loans Arena and Hoover Arena January 18-25, 2009

These jackets were done for the Awards Presenters, Ice Sweepers and Opening Ceremony volunteers.

Digitizing~Re-creating~Challenging but fun!

This was one challenging job! A lady called me and asked if I could re-create a sweatshirt that she bought a few years ago, somewhere out of town. She loved it so much, she wanted another one. So since I love a challenge, I decided to take it on.

The most challenging part was to get the "zebra stripes" that are falling off of him, the same width. Actually I only had to do one stitch out before I felt confident to make the changes and go for it, right onto her new sweatshirt. It came out beautifully and she was soooooooo happy.

Holiday Happenings

Come meet us at the Breckenridge Village Shopfest in Willoughby, Ohio on December 5th, 2008. We will have lots of embroidered sweatshirts for the chilly days ahead, along with other embroidered items. We will also be taking custom orders for the upcoming Holiday Season.

The Shopfest is an annual event at Breckenridge Village and showcases many vendors. The hours are from 10 am - 4 pm. Breckenridge Village is located at 36851 Ridge Rd. in Willoughby. It is being held at the newly renovated Osborne Community Plaza.
